The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Aleksandre Jejelkava and the deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs – Revaz Javelidze visited the “Future Camp” in Anaklia. This is the largest project organized by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, which is executed for the fourth consecutive year with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science.
The program aims at organizing a variety of cultural, educational and entertainment events in Georgia and outside its boarders, whilst involving a wide range of stakeholders such as students, socially displaced individuals, representatives of the ethnic minorotiries and etc. In addition, the project’s main goal is to execute competitions and various Olympiads for the participants, and provide a non-formal education, to ensure the expansion of their intellectual capacity, social integration healthy lifestyle promotion, and help integrate ethnic minoroties into the Georgian society.
In the beginning of the event, Aleksandre Jejelava inspected the existing infrastructe at the “Future Camp”. Afterwards, the minister met with the teenagers of 14-18 years in a conference room and addressed them with a long speech. After the speech, the sessions was resumed in a question-answer format. Moreover, in the evening the dear guests attended the Olympiad opening ceremony and witnessed the presentation of the 12 selected teams.
