Applicants for the vocational education are being registered across Georgia. In order to popularize the work-based learning, vocational schools held an open day in the following regions: Akhaltsikhe, Poti, Mtskheta and four state vocational schools in Kakheti.
A detailed information about the work-based learning was delivered by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the United Nations Development Program, and the Farmers Association of Georgia.
Despite the diversity in the existing educational programs, a new model of work-based learning program has been developed in terms of dual education format. For the first time, the new model is carried out in the field of agriculture.
In order to be able to participate in the vocational education program, it is required for the applicant to register at the vocational school, or apply through the resource center.
The registration process started on October 3 and will continue until October 16. Interested persons can choose from more than 150 vocational programs.
