According to the new standards and procedures of authorization for the higher education institutions, higher education institutions council starts to review the authorization application process with a new personnel.
At a meeting with the new members of the Council, the LEPL – National Center for Education Quality Enhancement director – Tamar Sanikidze, reviewed the projects of the new authorization standards and procedures, which is planned to be discussed with the involvement of local and international experts.
The collaboration of the new authorization standards for the higher education institutions, was conducted in compliance with the standards of European Standards and Guidelines (ESG), in conjunction with the recommendations of international experts. The new standards will promote the development of quality of education in Georgia, as well as the formation of system based on the results, and the international recognition of Georgian educational institutions and their degrees. In addition, the implementation of the above-mentioned standards will enhance the fulfillment of terms, bestowed upon signing the European Association agreement
