The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia denies the information, which was spread regarding being one of the initiators for organizing the meeting on December 9 at the National Science Academy of Georgia, in collaboration with other government agencies.

The spread information states, that during the conference, one of the parts of the government’s four-point plan, regarding the vocational education, which will entail the participation of not only the Prime Minister and the head Parliament Speaker, but also the members of the Parliament, non-governmental organizations and the representatives of various government agencies.

The Ministry hereby explains that the Ministry has not scheduled any type of conference of this sort; consequently, the false information is deliberately being spread out in order to mislead the public.

Given the fact that the deliberate spread of information on behalf of a state agency is a criminal act, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia will inform the relevant agencies.
