The main activities for the Vocational Education Development Department is to develop vocational education inside the country. Additionally, the department is oriented to implement a vocational education development policy/strategy, coordinate and monitor the educational institutions which already run vocational programs, take part in the liquidation, reorganization and foundation events for the educational institutions, supports the social partnership with non-governmental and partner international organizations.

The Vocational Education Development Department unifies three other divisions:

• Politics Division
• The support for social partnership Division.
