Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jejelava continues meetings with the representatives of the diplomatic corps. This time, the Minister hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Georgia Ianis Zlamet.
At the meeting, Aleksandre Jejelava provided the detailed information concerning the main directions of development of education and science of Georgia, strategic priorities and existing challenges to the Latvian party. The Minister expressed hope that the bilateral cooperation in the field of education and science will be further strengthened. The importance of sharing Latvia’s experience in the priority directions available in the field of education and science, as well as the promotion of joint scientific and research projects was also emphasized.
