Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University archaeology students Koba Koberidze, Suliko Kokhreidze, Davit Naskidashvili, Davit Gagoshidze, Boris Gelashvili, Tamar Lezhava and Aleksandre Chumburidze together with expedition supervisor professor Vakhtang Licheli tracked Georgian traces in Cyprus. Expedition members studied XIV-XVI centuries church and 14 graves around it. Considerably older fragments of XII-XIII centuries were also discovered there which coincides with the period of active activity of Georgians on Cyprus. The artefacts discovered by the young archaeologists significantly enriched the history of our country.
