Scientists will give the popular-scientific lectures and the practical classes to the 10th, 11th and 12th graders.

The goal of the competition is to support the popularization of the science at public schools, to introduce the innovations and the scientific achievements, talk about the modern scientific knowledge in popular language and make the children interested in science.



The lectures will cover following scientific fields:

• Chemistry
• Physics
• Biology and medicine
• Cosmology and astronomy
• Geography, geology and ecology
• Informational and communication technologies
• Engineering sciences

The scientific-popular lectures will begin from April 1. They will be carried out in following cities: Tbilisi,  Kutaisi, Gori, Rustavi, Telavi, Ozurgeti, Poti, Mtskheta, Oni, Mestia, Senaki, Khelvachauri, Borjomi and Akhalkalaki.

15.000 schoolchildren were involved in the program in 2009.
