29.03.2017

Under the initiative of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, a new project Learn More through Playing will be launched. The project aims to put more spirit into the study process at schools and teach various school subjects in a different format. For this purpose, the Ministry is interested in introducing and establishing the educational, intellectual table games at schools. Teimuraz Murgulia, deputy minister of Education and Science held a briefing today to introduce the project.

The table games will develop the teamwork skills as well as individual aspiration to success and victory in children and will raise their interest and motivation to study.

Within the project framework, the Ministry plans to buy games and introduce to all grades of the general educational institutions. The table game shall be:

  • Exciting, for individual or group plays
  • Developing logical and critical thinking; shall not be dependent on by-heart learning.
  • Delivered within three months after placing the order
  • Developed for school children and youth
    • User-friendly, colorful, made from solid material, with special storage packaging. Preferably, the game shall be complementary to the National Curriculum.
