The Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shahkini visited Tsnori public school №3 and attended the event, organized by the NGO “Lampari 2009” in the framework of the project For Future Generation. The goal of this project is to support the children’s and the teachers’ civil activities, to develop the sense of duty towards country in the schoolchildren, stimulate their initiatives, as well as support the development of the general abilities for civil engagement at schools and make the children’s free time maximally interesting.
The schoolchildren represented different regions of Georgia with the traditional clothes, dances and songs and typical cuisine at the event Walking around Georgia.
The Minister also attended the photo exhibition, reflecting the activities of the project and the newly established clubs at Patriot room. Teachers’ training process, awarded materials and the photos reflecting the teachers’ general abilities in the studying process (group working, presentations, etc.) were presented at the exhibition.
The school clubs ‘’Patriot” and “Nergebi”, being established in the framework of the project, introduced the implemented and the planned activities to the Minister.
