The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia announces registration of the first graders for the 2017-2018 academic years.

The registration will be implemented in 3 stages:

I Stage: April 10 - April 24, 2017

Registration will be carried out in schools.

The pupils:

• whose siblings study at this school;
• whose parent is a school employee;
• Two or more children of whose family is entering in the first class at the same time;

will be registered.

The necessary documents for enrolment of the pupils registered on I stage will be accepted from April 25 until May 05, inclusive.

II stage: Universal electronic registration

May 8 - June 1, 2017

It is possible to register the children, who meet the schooling age. The registration will be carried out on the official web-site of the Education Management Information System: www.emis.ge

The necessary documents to be submitted for enrolment of the pupils registered on the II stage in the general education institutions will be received from June 2 until June 15, inclusive.

In case of failure to submit the required documents for enrolment of the pupils on stages I and II, the registration will be automatically canceled.

III stage: June 19 - June 30, 2017

Registration will be conducted at school, on the places vacated after completion of the II stage, through submission of the documents required for enrolment of a pupil.

In 2017-2018 academic years, pupils who meet the requirements set by the law, i.e. are at least six years old by the period of starting the study, shall have the right to start study at the elementary stage of general education. 2017-2018 academic years will start on September 15.
