The Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shahkini visited the 9th educational-scientific exhibition in Rustavi and inspected the cognitive-educational projects in physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. The authors of these projects are the children of different schools. By the Minister’s announcement, the children’s participation in the cognitive events supports the forming process of the logical thinking and their development.
The cognitive-educational exhibition is being held for nine years. Firstly, it was carried out at Private Demirel College in 2001. The schoolchildren of all grades and the teachers, who manage the projects of the children, participate in the event. The goal of the project is to deepen the scientific knowledge and use the theoretical information in practice.
The 9th scientific exhibition is organized by Rustaveli school-lyceum of the network of the educational institution “Chaglari” in Rustavi. Besides the above mentioned lyceum, the schoolchildren of Private Demirel School, Batumi Shahini school-lyceum and the primary school, Kutaisi N. Nikoladze school-lyceum and the primary school, as well as N. Tsereteli international school, the primary school “Skhivi” and Rustavi public schools #4 and #2 participated in this event.
The Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini, as well as the Governor of Kvemo Kartli, David Kirkitadze, the Mayor of Rustavi, Mamuka Chikovani, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the International Black Sea University and “Chaghlari” educational institution, Adem Onali , also other invited guests attended the exhibition.
