Two projects of Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University (TESAU) are the winners of the state scientific grant competition for fundamental researches.
The winner projects are - “Academic edition of epistolary heritage of the Georgian writers of XIX-XX centuries” and “Endangered languages and vital importance of their documentation (on the example of Tsova-Tush language)”. The first project envisages the textual and edition science researches, academic preparation of personal letters of the Georgian writers with scientific appliances. Within the framework of the second project, the research will continue in the direction of linguistics and language documentation. New volumes of Tsova-Tush language grammar, texts and quadrilateral dictionaries will be drafted and published.
The projects will last for three years and their grant funding amounts to GEL 300,000.
