The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with the National Youth and Children’s Palace for the purpose to increase the access to informal and school education for the first time in the history of education. The Memorandum was signed by Ms. Lia Gigauri, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and Ms. Tinatin Rukhadze, the Director of the National Youth and Children’s Palace.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, educational and cognitive activities will be conducted for pupils and youth of school age, as well as development of professional competences of teachers involved in informal and out-of-school education will be promoted. The Memorandum also envisages establishment of educational clubs, performance of joint initiatives and other activities. Methodological approaches will be developed, translation and adaptation of available methodological literature, organization of trainings, etc. will be carried out in the framework of cooperation, in order to facilitate development of professional competences of teachers involved in informal education.
