Campaign “One Day in Profession” was launched in schools for popularization of teacher’s profession and promotion to career planning and professional orientation among the pupils. The campaign includes the activities such as the action – “A Pupil Teacher”. Within the framework of the action, the schools offered the pupils of 11th and 12th grades to prepare and conduct lesson to the classmates or the pupils of other classes in the desired subject and on the relevant topic. 700 pupils of the Georgian schools expressed the desire to participate in the action.

Every student involved in the action had the opportunity to conduct the best lesson. The pupils presented a general plan of the lesson to the classmaster and the teacher of the relevant subject in advance. Exactly they assisted the pupils in organization of the lesson. All pupils were allowed to participate in the action, despite academic performance.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Ms. Lia Gigauri attended the lessons conducted by the pupils in Tbilisi Public Schools Nos. 51 and 37.
