Information day of program “Horizon 2020” was held to the direction of information and communication technologies, where the presentation on the topic “Rules and Advices on Participation in Program Horizon 2020, Current Competition, Activities of Marie-Skladowska-Curie, SME Instrument and Twinning Activities” was presented.
The second topic, on which the presentation was also made, was development of information and communication technologies in Georgia and the possibilities of introduction of the EC projects outcomes in Georgia.
Information meetings of program “Horizon 2020” is regularly conducted in the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, where the interested audience is provided with full information about the events within the program.
“Horizon 2020”, whose associated member is Georgia, is the European Union Research and Innovation Program with the budget of about 80 billion Euros. This amount will be spent on scientific, research findings, inventions and innovations as the grants dedicated to various fields during 7 years (2014-2020). The mission of the program is to promote the development of the best science and through research and innovations, to solve the public and industrial challenges.
