Infrastructure projects implemented by LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency in 2013-2016:

• Construction of 13 new public schools was completed (1 - in Tbilisi, 12 - in regions);
• Construction of 10 public schools is underway at this stage (2 - in Tbilisi, 7 - in regions);
• 1840 infrastructure projects were carried out in 1401 buildings of public schools (148 academic buildings - in Tbilisi and 1253 academic buildings - in the regions) for partial rehabilitation of the buildings (430 academic buildings – in Tbilisi and 1410 academic buildings - in the regions);
• Rehabilitation and arrangement of roofs was carried out in 538 public schools (38 academic buildings - in Tbilisi and in 500 academic buildings - in the regions);
• Rehabilitation of doors and windows was carried out in 416 public schools (20 academic buildings – in Tbilisi and 396 academic buildings - in the regions);
• Rehabilitation and arrangement of the bathrooms was carried out in 186 public schools (37 academic buildings - in Tbilisi and 149 academic buildings - in the regions);
• Rehabilitation and arrangement of heating system was carried out in 169 public schools (49 academic buildings - in Tbilisi and 120 academic buildings - in the regions);
• Sports playgrounds were arranged in 30 public schools (6 academic buildings - in Tbilisi and 24 academic buildings - in the regions) and rehabilitation of the gym was carried out in 98 public school (22 academic buildings - in Tbilisi and 77 academic buildings - in the regions);
• Construction and proper equipment of the doctor’s office was completed in 350 public schools in 2014-2016. Construction of medical office is planned in 150 schools in 2017.
