The Participants, who won the nominations and the prizes in the competition of Calligraphy, were identified at the National Center of Manuscripts. All winners were presented with the certificates and the gifts.
The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Akaki Seperteladze awarded the winners with the diplomas and the portable computers.
The competition Georgian Calligraphy was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Center of Manuscripts and the NGO “Tsami”.
The goal of the project is to develop hand writing culture and reveal the creativeness of youngsters.
The winners of different nominations received special prizes from the Patriarchate, the Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation, the apparatus of the State Minister for Diaspora Issues, Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and the National Library, also from the famous people, publishing houses and other organizations.
The competent jure evaluated the workings of the schoolchildren.
The V-XII graders of public and private schools as well as the Georgians abroad actively participated in the competition.
The workings of the winners were exhibited at the National Center of Manuscripts, on the day of “Deda Ena”.
