Teaching of Entrepreneurship will be strengthened in Schools and Colleges

First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Ketevan Natriashvili held a business meeting with representatives of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The goal of the meeting was to introduce the project initiated by the organization, which aims to strengthen the teaching of entrepreneurship in educational institutions within the framework of cooperation with the Ministry.

The priority of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is to create a common approach in respect to teaching of entrepreneurship, and therefore, the representatives of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) made an offer that envisages implementation of entrepreneurship curriculums relevant to the European standards at general and vocational education level, development of teachers’ competences and strengthening of teaching of the social entrepreneurship component.
