As it is known for public, introduction of a new national curriculum begins from 2018-2019 academic years.

The National Curriculum Department conducts revision of the curriculum and, therefore, within the framework of revision, organizes cycle of working meetings with teachers, pupils, professional associations and all stakeholders, in order to familiarize with the planned innovations in new subject programs.

Working meetings have already been held with teachers of civic education, history, Georgian language and literature, sports and field specialists. They got acquainted with novelties related to teaching of the subjects, reviewed in detail the current version of the new curriculum. The teachers have made remarkable note and comment on new standards. Their opinions will be considered in the work process on curriculum, which will facilitate its improvement.
