The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the German International Cooperation Society (GIZ) organized a seminar for vocational education teachers and students, involved in piloting of the Winemaker’s Educational Program with the dual approach. Within the framework of the event, participants got acquainted with the functions of the National Wine Agency, wine sector development strategy, important statistical data of the field, Georgian wine marketing plan, field regulation issues and export requirements.
With the support of the “Private Sector Development and Vocational Education Program” of the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ), work-based / dual approach study is being implemented in the wine sector since 2015.
Vocational education institutions, Community College “Aisi” and “Ilia Tsinamdzgvrishvili College”, as well as “Kindzmarauli Corporation”, “Chateau Mukhrani”, “Schuchman-Wine”, “Shumi”, “Maranuli”, “Shadrevani”, “Kindzmarauli Wine Cellar” and “Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking” from the private sector are involved in the piloting process.
