Georgian Pupils are getting ready for International Olympiads

The Georgian teams started two-week trainings to take part in the International Olympiads. Georgia will present teams of pupils at the International Olympiads 2017 in five disciplines (Chemistry, Physics, Informatics, Mathematics and Biology).

After completion of the two-week training, the Georgian teams will travel to:

  • 48th  International Physics Olympiad - IPhO 2017, which will be held in Indonesia on July 16-24;
  • 58th International Mathematical Competition - IMO 2017, which will be held in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro on July12-23;
  • 29th International School of Informatics - IOI 2017, which will be held in Iran, Tehran from July 28 through August 4;
  • 28th International Biology Olympiad - IBO 2017, which will be held in the UK, Coventry, on July 23-30;
  • 49th International Chemistry Olympiad - IChO 2017, which will be held in Thailand, Bangkok, on July 6-15.

Members of the Georgian teams were selected for the International Olympiads of Physics, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry as the results of the third round of the National Olympiad 2017 and the qualification tours, and the Georgian team participating in the International Olympiad of Informatics was composed after the competition organized by the Ministry.
