Within the framework of the working visit in Racha-Lechkhumi region, Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Education and Science - Aleksandre Jejelava, together with the representatives of the Millennium Challenge Account, visited Simon Skhirtladze Oni Public School, viewed the performed rehabilitation works and met with the teachers.

Oni Public School is the second school in the region, that is fully rehabilitated with the support of Millennium Challenge Account – Georgia in full compliance with the modern standards. Oni Public School is one of the largest schools (405 pupils) in the region, its rehabilitation covered 4606 m2 and the budget of rehabilitation is 577,103 USD, equipment of the school with furniture and devices still continues. The laboratory of natural science will also be arranged with funding of the Account.
