Aleksandre Jejelava - The main priority for the science and education reform of Georgia is promotion of international cooperation, Austrian science is truly one of the leading in Europe both in the terms of general European researches as well as in the global direction. That’s why we have agreed on specific steps, inter alia we are waiting for the representatives of the Academy in Georgia, in order to exchange more information between the Georgian and the Austrian society, to plan and to develop joint projects in scientific and educational directions.
Professor Anton Zeilinger - I am very glad about the visit of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia. We had an opportunity to talk about the achievements of international cooperation. A number of topics have been identified, in which joint working is preferred. There was an idea to contact the scientists of both countries with each other and to think about what may be done in future with a joint cooperation, for example, to organize scientific conferences, and also to invite the Georgian youth to Austria in order to spend a certain period in our scientific club.
