In the course of global student mobility, the number of persons willing to study abroad as well as the number of foreign students in educational institutions of Georgia during the last decade increases.

Therefore, in parallel with a variety of educational programs, different services, including the issue of offering the dormitories relevant to the European Standards, which is one of important factors in the process of getting education abroad, will provided in the agenda.

Also, it is important to provide Georgian students, who came from different regions to capital in order to get higher education with the dormitory. As of July 2017, there are 109 290 active students in Tbilisi HEIs, from where 8290 are foreign citizens and 35 264 are students which arrived from region to Tbilisi in order to get education.

That is why, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia announces the expression of interest to the governing companies, universities and all interested parties for the purpose of building a student dormitory. The implementation of the project is planned in public-private partnership format and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is ready to cooperate with all interested parties.
