Within the framework of the Georgian Public Administration Reform, envisaged by the Agreement between Georgia and the European Union, in the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, with the help of EU experts, works are being held on the improvement of the planning and implementation of the strategic policy of education and science. The experts are in Georgia at this moment and they are holding meetings.

For this purpose, the Higher Education Expert of European Commission, Peter Debrecen, has visited Georgia with working mission, which provides expert assistance to the Ministry in formulating the direction of Strategy and Action Plan and adapting to existing international standards.
