Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Education and Science Aleksandre Jejelava attended the inauguration of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani. Aleksandre Jejelava held a meeting with Minister of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as with Minister of Health and Medical Education of Iran, within the framework of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

At the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of strengthening relations in education and science field, the issues of exchange of students, professors and scholars and the recognition of diplomas. To this end, the signature of the relevant agreement is planned for the nearest future.
