For the first time in the history of the Georgian education, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement starts accreditation of higher education programs with participation of the international experts. An expert team is led by the accreditation expert of Quality Assurance Agency of Lithuania and Cyprus and Professor of Cyprus Open University - Pantelis Ypsilantis. The expert team also includes local and international experts, employers and students.

Within the frameworks of the first accreditation visit, English-language Bachelor Degree Programs for Business Administration of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani Teaching University and Caucasus International University will pass the international evaluation. A group of experts discussed these issues at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.

Within the frameworks of the next academic visit, which will be implemented in early September, the programs of architecture and urban planning of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgian Technical University and International Black Sea University will be evaluated.
