The success of our pupils continues at the International Olympiads, this time, a team of pupils up to 15 years has returned from Bulgaria, where they won a brilliant victory in the first European Youth Olympiad in informatics.

The Georgian national team has shown very high results at the Olympiad, which has such high ranking and where participants have strong teams and are always in the leadership position not only in Europe but also in worldwide: Nikoloz Birkadze earned gold medal and won the title of European champion, he outclasses the rest participants. Teimuraz Toloraia and Ioane Kapanadze were awarded silver and Giorgi Kobakhia was awarded bronze medals. With this result Georgia has hit the top three of the countries participating countries.

The Olympiad was organized at a high level and the strongest pupils of 22 European countries took part in it.

The team was accompanied by the coaches, who contributed a lot in the success of pupils: Giorgi Mandaria - the head of the national team (leader) and Zaza Gamezardashvili (co-leader).
