The first national award of vocational education will be held in Georgia

Millennium Challenge Account - within the framework of the “Vocational Education for Economic Development” project in Georgia is pleased to announce a national award contest for vocational education for the first time in Georgia. The project is financed by the US Millennium Challenge Corporation, within the framework of $ 140 million compact signed between US Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Government of Georgia.

The National Award of Vocational Education is an open contest where the winners of the first and second place will be identified in the following four categories: Vocational Education Institution, Vocational Education Business Partner of the year, Vocational Education Teacher and Vocational Education Student of the year. The winners will be awarded with certificates and special prizes.

The National Awards of Vocational Education is aimed at enhancing the image and reputation of vocational education, recognizing its significance and prestige as in representatives of private sector, as well as in individuals.

The National Awards of Professional Education will reveal recent successful reforms and examples of best practices that promote the development of vocational education based on the needs of modern labor market.

Candidates will be judged by an independent jury. Winners will be announced on Gala Award of Professional Education, which will be held on October 31, 2017.
