Peace Corps is announcing a competition

The United States Peace Corps is proud to invite motivated public schools to cooperate with the Peace Corps Education Program.

Peace Corps volunteers have successfully implemented various educational projects in the regions of Georgia for 17 years. Schools selected in the competition will wor with the American English language teachers for academic years of 2018-2020, to improve the level of English in Georgia.

Schools situated in the following regions are eligible to participate in the competition: Mtskheta-Mtianeti (except Stepantsminda), Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Adjara, Guria, Imereti, Samegrelo, Racha-Lechkhumi and Svaneti.

If your school is in the above-mentioned area, the minimum hourly clock of teaching the English language is 24 hours, and you are interested in volunteering for the academic year of 2018-2020, please get acquinted with the information provided in the appendix. We are kindly asking you to fill in the request form together with the host family application and send it to us to the Peace Corps office at Vazha Pshavela # 29a, Tbilisi, 0160 or send an e-mail to education@ge.peacecorps.gov

The volunteer request form and information attachment can be obtained at the Peace Corps Office of Georgia or Educational Resource Centers. The volunteer request forms can also be downloaded from the website of the Peace Corps website: https://www.peacecorps.gov/georgia/ask-for-a-volunteer/.

The deadline for submitting the documents is October 20, 2017.
