The Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and the Public Defender, George Tugushi signed the memorandum of cooperation. The goal of the memorandum is to support the full realization of the human rights in the educational process. The memorandum envisages the following issues:

• Supporting the accessibility of education for everyone; 
• Preventing and discovering the violence at schools;
• Improving the knowledge on the children’s rights at the educational institutions and reflecting the rights of the children in the educational programs;
• Monitoring the children’s rights at the educational institutions;
• Supporting the inclusive education at the educational institutions;
• Working jointly on different programs, necessary legislative initiatives and the political documents for the full implementation of educational rights, as well as defending the Rights of the people at the penal institutions;
• Realizing the rights of the  ethnic minorities and other target groups and considering the gender issues in the educational policy;

Both parties are ready to hold the dialogue in the scope of the memorandum, to discuss the initiatives and recommendations and make the joint decisions in order to support the full realization of all citizens of Georgia in the educational process, regardless of their status, nationality, social condition, physical opportunities and etc.
