04.10.2017

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, from October 4 to October 15, announces registration of applicants for vocational education.

All interested people have the opportunity to master the professions of tourism, construction, agriculture, transport, information technology and other fields with the full funding of the state.

Also, four new educational programs (beekeeper, cook, restaurant business and hotel service) will be implemented by work-based (dual) approach in colleges Tbilisi, Kobuleti and Batumi for the first time together with partner employers.

The registration is available by the ID card in educational resource centers throughout Georgia and institutions implementing vocational educational programs.

Applicants also have the opportunity to use the electronic (online) registration mode through www.vet.emis.ge website.

Please note that registration can be done on several programs under one direction!

The registered applicant, within a few days after the registration, will receive an examination card with the information about the place and date of the testing. After testing results, applicants will have the opportunity to review their choice during the registration and to change the list of desired programs by taking into consideration the statistics and scores of previous years under one direction.

Information on professional testing and sample of tests are available on the website of the National Assessment and Examinations Center (www.naec.ge). Individuals with special educational needs are registered on the basis of the abovementioned procedure, however they use alternative professional testing that envisages the evaluation of the multidisciplinary team and the profession.

Like in the previous year, on autumn admission 2017 of citizens of ethnic minorities who fail to obtain vocational education because of the language barrier will be able to pass the test in Russian, Armenian or Azerbaijani languages. The Georgian language module is integrated into vocational programs for teaching Georgian language at the appropriate level.

In addition, for the first time this year, vocational education is available in three additional municipalities - Stepantsminda, Tianeti and Lagodekhi.

Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia wishes you success!
