The third final round of the competition the Best Linguist was held in Kutaisi public school №17, on April 19, 2010. 56 schoolchildren participated in it. The Cultural Affairs Officer of US embassy to Georgia, Saul Hernandez, the Head of Kutaisi Educational Resource Center of the Ministry of Education and Science, Vladimer Pataridze, Kutaisi Vice-Mayor, David Gordeladze, as well as the Head of the English Language and Literature Department of Kutaisi Tsereteli State University, Eka Topuria, professors and the teachers and the pedagogic society attended and observed the final round and participated in the awarding ceremony.
Three best linguists were identified:
The Ministry of Education and Science presented the winners with the ASUS portable computers. Mr. Saul Hernandez awarded the best 10 participants with the American literature. All participants received the certificates and the gifts from Procredit Bank. The awarding ceremony and concert was held at the renovated hall of the school. The schoolchildren of 17 public schools participated in the concert. They sang hymns of Georgia and USA. The 12th grader, Lasha Sakvarelidze song the traditional blues together with the jazz band (the chief - Devis Akhvlediani).
