Competition for photos, slogans and videos

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia announces the following contests for students to promote healthy lifestyle:

  1. 1.    Photo competition - "My School Buffet"

Students will take pictures showing the students' perceptions of how the environment and the product would like to be in a school buffet; the competition will promote healthy nutrition in students. Students of primary, basic and secondary level of public and private schools can participate in the competition;

Logistics

The contest will be held in two stages: during the first phase, the school will reveal one of the best photos. The photo must be uploaded by the school administration no later than November 15, 2017, on the relevant website: http://mes.gov.ge/s/wRFHb. (Facebook page "Change - a healthy lifestyle campaign"); during the second stage: the commission established by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia will review and evaluate photos presented in the competition. Additionally, based on the decision taken by the commission, the competition will reveal the winners of the second and third places, whereas the winner will be established based on the number of “likes” on the social media.

 

Award Ceremony

The authors/group of the photos of I, II and III places will receive a diploma and a respective gift cards of worth 800, 700, 600 GEL.

 

2. Competition for video clips and slogans

The students will create video clips and slogans based on a healthy lifestyle theme. The aim of the competition is to promote healthy lifestyles amongst the students, as well as condemnation towards sbstances like (tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, etc.). Students of basic and secondary levels of public and private schools, both individually and in groups, are eligible to participate in the competition;

Logistics

The competition will be conducted in three stages: school, municipal and final tours.

Video Clip Competition: The school will reveal no more than one winner of the video, which will be uploaded on www.youtube.com by the school administration no later than November 15, 2017. Competitive works will be reviewed and evaluated by a special committee, established by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia. Based on the decision of the Commission, the works of the first, second and third places will be revealed.

Slogan Competition: The school will reveal no more than two winner slogans, which will be submitted no later than November 15, 2017, to the corresponding resource center. Competitive works will be reviewed and evaluated by a special committee, established by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia. Based on the decision of the Commission, the works of the first, second and third places will be revealed.

 

The award Ceremony
The author / authors positioned on the  I, II and III places in the video clips competition will be awarded with diplomas and gift cards for worth 800, 700, 600 GEL, respectively;

Author / authors positioned on the  I, II and III places in the Slogan Competition will be awarded with diplomas and computer equipment and accessories gift cards worth 500 500, 300 GEL.
