Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Mikheil Chkhenkeli and Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic - Dana Prudikova signed the cooperation agreement in the field of education and science and expressed their readiness for close cooperation in the field of primary, secondary, vocational, higher education and science.
Within the framework of the above agreement, the parties will systematically exchange information on innovation in the field of education and science; promote participation of scientists, education experts and students in joint scientific conferences, congresses and symposiums; cooperation between vocational, higher institutions and scientific / research institutes will be enhanced; the parties will also encourage cooperation in EU programs and projects; participation of the scientists from both sides in international competitions organized within the framework of the EU’s Research and Innovation Program; facilitate teaching of native language and Diaspora activities in the other Contracting State; promote exchange of academic staff and researchers of state higher education institutions and scientific-research institutions for teaching and delivery of lectures; as well as exchange of Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral students and provide their participation in summer schools, etc.
