The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia announces the competition
for the selection of public school guards. Interested candidates of 20-45 ages
can participate in the competition. The Minister announced the
competition at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during his
meeting with the guards, schoolchildren and their parents. He attended the
presentation of the informational video clip on this issue.
The guards entered Tbilisi
7 pilot school a week ago. It can be said, the project successfully works. The
children often call the guards for a help and the guards actively respond to
their request. A good example is the incident, occurred at public school №11 –
11th grader Mariam Tetradze found her lost mobile phone with the
Guard’s help. The Minister personally met with this schoolchild.
The Minister listened to the information on the results of the Guards’
one-week work from the schoolchildren, their parents and the teachers at the
Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The relationships between the
Guards and the children are very positive and respectful.
The registration of the willing candidates is carried out by
the Ministry in order to enter the schools from the next academic year.
