Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Mikheil Chkhenkeli held an introductory meeting with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) representative in Georgia Laila Omar Gad, where the existing cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and UNICEF and the prospects of its further enhancement was discussed.

Laila Gad positively assessed the efforts of the Ministry to ensure the rights of children. On his side, Mikheil Chkhenkeli expressed his gratitude to the UNICEF’s Children’s Fund Office for its assistance to Georgia and its involvement in the process of development and implementation of child-oriented policies.
