Luka Lomtadze is a third-year student of Computer Engineering of San Diego State University- Georgia. Luka is the first from this university, who will get an internship at Facebook head office. Facebook has chosen Luka among 300 students out of 250,000 students and invited him on the position of Software Development in Silicon Valley in Menlo Park in summer. “To get to Facebook was my long time dream and I knew sooner or later, I would have achieved my goal,” - says Luka.

Every year, San Diego University – Georgia provides an opportunity for the campus students to participate in exchange programs. One of them is Luka, who immediately after his arrival in California, decided to take part in the most demanding program of Facebook and successfully passed the difficult selection stage.

According to the dean of San Diego State University – Georgia, Luka is a remarkable example of student success. “The aim of our program is to support Georgia’s economic growth. For achievement of this objective, we assist the students to realize their dreams in the field of science and technology. Luka is one of many students, who will succeed thanks to this opportunity”, - said Ken Walsh.
