The Heads and the representatives of the Embassies accredited in Georgia and international organizations got familiarized with the ongoing educational reforms, challenges and initiatives for 2010-2011. The workshop was held in Bazaleti complex during the whole day. The goal of this event was to inform the representatives of diplomatic corps on the ongoing educational process and gain their support.

Following organizations were invited at the meeting: USAID, American Councils, Peace Corps, UNICEF, Embassy of Germany in Georgia, Embassy of Estonia in Georgia, Eurasia Foundation. The Ministry has been successfully cooperating with these organizations and implementing different projects for several years together with them. Each of these organizations introduced the presentations reflecting the activities, being held in the educational system.

Ambassador of France in Georgia, Deputy Ambassador of Poland, the representatives of World Bank, British Council and other organizations also took participation in the event.
New phase of the educational reform envisages improving educational policy and legislation, developing the effective educational system at all levels (pre-school, secondary and higher education), preparing qualified staff and advancing the educational infrastructure. The Ministry regularly holds such events in order to inform the society on the reforms. All stakeholders take participate in these events.
