Moreover, individuals who seek to improve their vocational skills, or acquire a new one, in conjunction with the high school students of X to XII grade, are welcome to apply for the following vocational courses: electrician and metal-crafting artisans. The courses are fully funded by the state, whilst the training takes place in a workshop fully equipped with the latest technology.
The project implemented at Agara Public School is a part of a wide range of curricula implemented with the support of the European Union, and aims to draw the vocational education system closer to the requirements of the Georgian labor market.
The experience of Agara Public School promotes the entirety of vocational education and attracts the interest of young people, in conjunction with developing the relations of public-private partnerships, and the overall involvement of general education institutions in the development of the vocational education platform in Georgia.
