Mikheil Chkhenkeli hosted the European Union delegation

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli has met with the delegation of the European Union, comprising of Directorate-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, the director of the European Union Eastern Partnership Cooperation – Lawrence Meredith, and the European Union Ambassador to Georgia – Janos Herman. During the meeting, the members of the aforementioned delegations have positively evaluated the overall cooperation with the Ministry, and have once again emphasized the massive support the European Union has towards Georgia, especially in the fields of Education and Science.

Additionally, the preparatory work for intended launch of the European Union Eastern Partnership School was positively assessed during the meeting. The importance of the establishment was continuously emphasized during the meeting and the parties have agreed upon the specific action plan, which will raise the awareness of such schools throughout the country and the region. 
The parties have also discussed the ongoing and planned projects in the fields of Education, Science and Youth Affairs, and have agreed on further enhancing the cooperation.
