Mikheil Chkhenkeli held a meeting with the Tbilisi State University participants of "Javakheti Student expedition"

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Mikheil Chkhenkeli, met with the participants of "Javakheti Student Expedition" at Tbilisi State University. During the meeting, the students talked about their expedition experience and the importance of such projects, and they emphasized the special role Mikheil Chkhenkeli had in organizing the event.
One-month long summer
expeditions are held in Javakheti since 2001 from July 14 to August 14, with
the blessing of Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II and with the support of
Tbilisi State University. Moreover, during the expedition, students are engaged
in various activities, such as cleaning and restoring ancient Georgian churches
and monasteries, conducting excursions, and at the same time organizing
numerous cognitive events with the local Samtskhe-Javakheti population.
