Mikheil Chkhenkeli – the Minister of Education and Science of
Georgia, held a meeting with the winners of the 2017 Shota Rustaveli Georgian
National Science Foundation competition.
The aim of the meeting was to provide all the necessary information regarding
the projects funded by the State budget for the development of science,
technology and innovation systems, as well as discuss main trends and
tendencies.
Apart
from the scientists, the representatives of the Georgian Parliament as well as
the diplomatic crops attended the meeting.
Meeting
with the scientific community serves the major goal of raising general public
awareness towards science and innovation, in conjunction with informing
Georgian community with the latest information in the fields of technology and
global science, and attracting potential investors.
