College "Mermisi" getting ready for spring admissions

The registration of applications for the vocational education programs is open at college “Mermisi”, where the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Mikheil Chkhenkeli got acquinted with registration process, inspected the learning environment and met with the future students. On the same day, the graduation ceremony was held for the senior graduates of the college. Moreover, for the first time this year, 60 graduates of five various vocational programs (artistic design specialist of clothing, technician of refrigeration, ecological control specialist, stylist and cooks) have put on their graduation gowns.

At College “Mermisi” spring admissions is conducted in four directions: agricultural, arts, engineering and interdisciplinary fields or specialties, as well as having 9 educational programs. Any interested individual, at any given age, has the opportunity to master the craft of their preference, which is fully funded by the state, and find the employment in the respective labor market. 
The vocational College “Mermisi” has been functioning since 2012 and is one of the leading vocational educational institutions in Georgia, where they educate  more than 1000 students annually. The College is carrying out special modules in the fields of agriculture, business administration, arts, and engineering and interdisciplinary fields or specialties, as well as 34 various vocational programs.

The main goal of the college is to prepare competitive staff on the labor market and promote their further employment. The college has a memorandum of cooperation with more than 300 public and private organizations. Most graduates have already been employed in such well-known companies as "EuroTex", "Nikora", "Tolia", "Elit Service", Restaurant "Mtatsminda", "Milli Group" and others.
