The registration of applicants for vocational education has started as of April 22. All interested candidates have the opportunity to master the vocation of their preference in the following industries: tourism, construction, agriculture, transport, information technology and other fields, which is fully funded by the Georgian state.
Registration is successfully conducted at Ilia Tsinamdzgvrishvili College, located Mtskheta region, where the specialties of agriculture is taught. The college was inspected by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and the First Deputy Minister, who held several meetings with the faculty members and its students.
The full renovation procedure of the vocational school was carried out in the village Tsinamdzgvrtirantkari last year. The college itself was founded by the public figure and philanthropist Ilia Tsinamdzgvrishvili in 1883, it was him to first opened the agricultural institution solely based on his expenses with the help of the local community. At this stage, the college offers full courses on viticulture and winemaking, breeding, beekeeping, forestry. Moreover, the college has branches in Tianeti and Stepantsminda.
About 20 private companies operate in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, who work closely with the vocational college, consequently facilitating the employment process upon graduation.
