Georgia and Azerbaijan will cooperate closely in terms of education development

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli held a meeting with the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Jeyhun Bayramov, where the success and challenges of the education system of the two countries were discussed. 

During the meeting the sides discussed the upcoming challenges in higher education, in conjunction with enhancing the cooperation between the Georgian and Azeri universities. In particular, the sides expressed their desire to create joint scientific projects and exchange programs for the students and professors alike. 
Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his full readiness to fully support the Georgian and Azerbaijanian scientists.

 

The Azerbaijanian Minister thanked his Georgian colleague and once again expressed his utter willingness to further enhance the cooperation between the two countries. In order to ensure timely access of native language textbooks to the Azeri students.

The sides discussed specific topics, that will have a positive impact on the qualifications of teachers working in the regions populated by ethnic minorities. This will in turn, increases the quality of teaching and learning in the region of Caucasus.
