The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli held a working meeting with the Microsoft Europe Office Manager - Miroslav Dvořák, and the representatives of Microsoft Georgia for effective use of the modern information technology in the educational process.

Representatives of Microsoft held a presentation of the project "Minecraft Education Edition" and discussed the possibilities of implementing the project at Georgian public schools together with the Minister.

Minecraft Education Edition is an educational platform based on a popular game. Teachers will impart certain subjects based on a popular game. Thus facilitating the development of spatial, logical and creative skills amongst students.

The retraining of teachers have already started for the pilot schools.
