The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli discussed the prospects of further cooperation with the representatives of Peace Corps in Georgia.

As mentioned during the meeting, the cooperation between the Ministry and the Peace Corps is developing towards all directions and the sides expressed their readiness to further develop the existing collaboration. Consequently, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Peace Corps have agreed to renew the Memorandum of Cooperation, and enhance the relationship by planning additional projects involving the Youth.

Peace Corps has been operating in Georgia since 2001 and during this period, many important projects have been implemented in the fields of education and youth affairs.
