Transition policy for early and primary inclusive education

Owing to the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, a work on a transferring policy document has been initiated, encapsulating the steady transition process from preschool and social services environment to a public school education. In the process of developing the document, an international expert from the University of Edinburgh – Dr. Juliet Hancock introduced her insights to the Ministry. Lia Gigauri – the deputy Minister also attended the meeting and spoke about the importance of designing such document.

The project aims to implement a timely and effective transition process to the children with special educational needs.
